Group General Manager

1. Strategic & Financial Leadership

·        Deliver profitable business growth through clear strategic planning, departmental budgeting, and operational accountability.

·        Ensure effective financial controls, timely debt collection, and accurate, data-driven management reporting.

·        Leverage ERP systems and key operational metrics to identify performance gaps and drive prompt resolution.

2. Commercial & Supply Chain Operations

·        Strengthen supplier and brand-owner relationships, commercial terms, pricing structures, and promotional strategies.

·        Improve inventory management, purchasing discipline, stock accuracy, and overall working-capital efficiency.

·        Optimize fleet productivity, warehouse operations, delivery reliability, and operating expenses.

3. Team Leadership & Business Expansion

·        Mentoring and developing department managers, branch leadership, and frontline teams to foster a high-performance culture.

·        Lead the operational setup, business case validation, and successful launch of new hubs (starting with Monywa and subsequent target regions).

·        Experience: Substantial leadership experience (preferably 10–15 years) in FMCG distribution, wholesale, trading, or a closely related supply chain sector.

·        Operational Track Record: Proven experience managing profit & loss (P&L), cross-functional operations, multi-location logistics, and sizeable teams.

·        Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical background with hands-on experience using ERP platforms and advanced MS Excel for operational monitoring.

·        Expansion Capabilities: Demonstrated success in branch development, operational improvement, and launching new market hubs.

·        Leadership Style: High integrity, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving ability, with a track record of working closely and effectively alongside an business owner/founder.

·        Note: Demonstrated leadership achievements and operational impact will carry greater weight than formal job titles or tenure.
